Hi there! I'm Patti Walker. I have decades of experience writing.
I love writing! It started when I was young and wrote short stories all the time. In high school I was the editor of my high school newspaper, and then I was the editorial page editor of my college newspaper.
Since college, I have had the opportunity to write extensively in my career, excelling at business communications that were brief without being abrupt, always making sure my point was made in the fewest words possible, yet very clearly.
People, especially in business, have short attention spans, right? Got to get your point across quickly, yet skillfully and accurately. That's where I can help you.
My two terrific kids are in college, one studying psychology and one film. They both played club soccer for years and my daughter started taking horseback riding when she was four years old. Being involved with these sports and in their schools was great fun for me.
I graduated from George Washington University where I studied Economics and Political Science, am a native Atlantan and currently live just outside Athens, GA (Go Dawgs!).
So many things interest me! But favorites are real estate and finance, cooking, gardening and plants, movies, reading, hiking and being outdoors, and my pets.
